During BPES 2009, I met Prof. Konno by chance, and he kindly invited me to his lab, and introduced their interesting research on robotics for aerospace. Also, I visited Prof. Shimizu, and meet nice students and wonderful bio-inspired robot…
It was indeed much noisier than B737 I used for return, although Q comes from Quiet.

Seemingly the aircraft I'll board for Sendai is propeller-driven.
I found that limousine bus had been abolished at Sendai airport, although the transit line to JR is OK.
We can see this autumn clouds also in the morning! And I saw a student of my lab going home (^^;;;
Whew, we at least bought a lottery for a ticket to Anchorage...
Thanks for many students taking our entrance exam!!!
I bought these magazines at SFO for the return trip to KIX. Many pages are spared to describe the DPJ's landsliding win in the Economist, but there are few American-original views.
I've slept for only around 4.5 hours per night since I came back to Japan. Maybe due to the jet lag ?
Tonight I learned the history of the Beatles by watching a NHK's TV program which was great. It is amazing that their tremendous productivity was densely packed in only 8.5 years!
The conference was held in Hilton, and its banquet also used a Hilton's hall. There are many nice restaurants in MN some of which have outside seats that I love. One day, I enjoyed a dinner outisde with Hayashibe-san, Kawamoto-san and Kuri…
Wow, this site is really useful!
I was lucky to see a glorious view of My. Fuji wearing clouds, from the plane! Click for the larger image!

I found that ORD was a shiny wonderful airport. There's a big dinosaur statue. I didn't know that Chicago is famous for dinosaur. If I had time for visiting the Field museum, but we just use ORD for transit in this travel... (;_;) http://w…

I'm afraid that I'm finally adapted to CST, although I'm going to fly back the day after tomorrow to the world using JST ... (^^;
This is the first time for me to attend EMBC, and find it very interesting. Obacchi debuted yersterday in his poster presentation. The poster title is "Comparison of experts and non-experts in throwing darts based on optimization criteria"…
15 years have passed since I used Narita airport. I had to use Narita this time for the approach route to Chicago. Everthing looks changed in Narita. I'll be able to use San Francisco->KIX route for return.
Minneapolis. It has sounded like 'apple' to me for a couple of days :) I find their phonetic symbols share the same part, indeed. Now my interpreter seems improved to cope with this difficulty :)
Jet lag. I haven't had a chance to overcome jet lag in US for a short stay (;_;) My postdoc and and student are in the same state with me.
